F Street

The northeastern part of Greely doesn't have many historic attractions or amazing spots to take a picture, but it does have broad streets and a few decent recreation areas, one of which is entirely dedicated to pooches! Set near Cache la Poudre River and at the very eastern edge of F Street, Rover’s Run Dog Park is a great place to bring Fido for an active day out or some off-leash fun. This fenced park is a decent size and has a dirt terrain, which can get muddy when it rains. You can relax on a bench while your buddy is chasing his fellow pups or running after his favorite toy. You will need to bring your own water with you.

Downtown Windsor

The beautiful and tiny town of Windsor is set on Windsor Lake, northeast of Greely and Evans, and its downtown area is happy to welcome you and your pooch for some mutts-needed exploration! You may think that Broadwalk Park is a furrific place for your special family member, but this is a public park -- the real gem is hidden on the opposite side of the lake. Windsor Lake Dog Park is more than just a perfect spot to have a pawesome day out. The park is fully fenced, covered in grass and has access to the water. Moreover, it features a nice and pleasant extension of 2.25 miles of walking trails running around the lake -- the perfect place to share a quiet moment in nature with your pup!

Eastman Park Drive South

A large portion of Windsor is occupied by huge recreation areas which feature the stunning beauty of Colorado’s wilderness. There are so many convenient places here for you to have fun with your pooch. Start by exploring the fenced area of Poudre Pooch Par,k set between Whitney Ditch and Cache la Poudre River. You can easily observe the opposite area of Eastman Park, or just enjoy the roomy surroundings where your pooch is welcome to go wild off his leash. Looking for a hike or quick on-leash walk? Feel free to hit Poudre River Trail, which crosses Eastman Park and challenges you with more than 20 miles of trails winding along picturesque spots between Greely and Windsor.

King's Corner

The scenic neighborhood of Kings Corner in Loveland features at least five water reservoirs and two rivers running along its borders. It also connects two local parks: Centennial Park and Fairgrounds Park. The latter, apart from providing visitors with plenty outdoor activities, features an amazing dog park where you are welcome to let your mutt off their leash to play and exercise in a fenced and fully protected area. You can choose one of two separate sections for small or large pooches. The park also features benches and a huge shaded spot to catch your breath and cool off on a sunny day. You can bring your own water with you, or grab a drink at the conveniently located drive-thru right next to the southern part of the park.

Downtown Loveland

Downtown Loveland is a beautiful area which offers something a little different for you and your pooch to do. There are no off-leash parks here, but The Promenade Shops at Centerra offer plenty of dog-friendly stores! Many of them let your leashed mutt inside, and are happy to treat your well-behaved leashed boy with some snacks or sweets. The alley of shops is just huge, and you can dive into dog-friendly shopping for hours. Just make sure to pay attention to the shops’ doors, where you'll see pet-friendly signs. When you are worn out, feel free to grab a drink at basically any café in the city center. Most of them have outdoor tables and welcome leashed pooches. Try The Black Steer, an old-fashioned eatery with mouthwatering ribs and seafood, or Mo’ Betta Gumbo, serving fresh veggies with a special culinary twist!
