I have taken part in raising and caring for dogs and cats since I was little. I've probably had over 15 pets in my lifetime and have owned breeds such as retrievers, labs, collies, terriers, and spaniels. I have been trusted to watch dogs for friends, co-workers, and extended family as well. I have sat and boarded for a variety of breeds. Some include: a chiweenie (Dachshund and Chihuahua mix), I managed to get on her good side and we ended up being buddies at the end of the week despite her initial fierce attitude towards humans. I also have had the opportunity to watch one of my co-worker's service dog, English Bulldog, who is stubborn but has a heart as big as she is. All in all, I love animals and want to make sure they are loved and cared for on a daily bases. I would be honored to have the opportunity to take care of new pets and will enjoy doing it no matter what challenge they may hold.

My name is Sophia. I am a wife, a cat mom, and a volunteer keeper’s assistant for rhinos and tapirs. I grew up with dogs and had a neighborhood dog walking business when I was a teen back before there were smartphones and apps. I very much want to adopt another dog of my own, but cannot currently afford the full time responsibility. I’m an avid hiker and love long walks. I’m up for as long of a walk as your pupper needs.

My name is Brett :). I was born and raised in Brighton and Thornton. I've been a dog owner since I was a kid when my family owned a Siberian Husky. After her beautiful soul I've owned 3-4 dogs and have always loved all animals but dogs especially. I worked as a mail man for 2 years and my love for canines became even stronger while walking my routes. I feel I have a special bond with dogs/animals and love just spending time with them giving each other a great time and memories. Knowing I can make a dog's day better always makes me feel great!

My name is Brandon and I am a long time dog lover. I grew up with dogs my entire life, both large and small, and had my own dog for almost 15 years until she passed. With two toddlers in the house we aren't ready to commit to owning another dog yet, so walking and spending time with other people's dogs is a great opportunity for me. I look forward to meeting new dogs and getting to share with them the love I have for all animals.

Dog Walking in Keenesburg

The town of Keenesburg is an unincorporated community in Weld County, Colorado located 20 miles away from Denver International Airport along the I-76 corridor. Home to just over 1,000 people, the place is a developing community with agricultural roots and all the necessary amenities for a comfortable life. However, if you have a four-legged buddy, this isn't the dog-friendliest town in the area. Thankfully, Keenesburg is close to larger cities, like Denver and Brighton, which have everything you and Fido could possibly need or want. You'll find plenty of dog parks, walking trails, cafes, and restaurants, as well as 3 veterinary clinics in Brighton.

Happy Tails Dog Park in Brighton is a wonderful dog park with a looped trail stretching along the reservoir and a fully equipped, fenced dog park with two separate sections for small and large pups. The place is adored by the friendly locals, and some say it's impossible to convince their pups to get out of the swimming pond! Don't want to travel too far out of town? Head to the Wild Animal Sanctuary, a pet-friendly wildlife refuge with a variety of species to marvel at. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome to enjoy this unique adventure with you!
