Stapleton
Stapleton is a unique neighborhood split between Denver and Aurora in central Colorado. The broad streets of the borough will point the way to many public parks, but if you want some real fun, head straight to the northwest to find Stapleton Off-Leash Dog Park, a pawesome dog park located on Spruce Street. The park is large and features a sandy terrain, which makes it perfect for digging holes, finding treasures, and hiding toys! There is no separate area for small puppers, but there's plenty of trees, benches, and drinking water fountains. However, the water fountains may be turned off in the winter, so bring your own bottle just in case.

Whittier
Located about 2 miles northeast of downtown Denver, Whittier is a central neighborhood with several recreation areas and densely populated residential quarters. Your pooch will pawsitively love Fullers Public Park, located in the heart of the neighborhood. Its on-site dog park, Fullers Dog Park, is significantly larger than your usual dog park and is very popular among the locals, especially in the evenings after 5 pm. Featuring a dirt terrain, the area is perfect for off-leash activities and exercises and provides benches and some shade. However, there are no drinking water facilities here, so you'll need to bring your own. Don't forget the waste bags, too!

Ballpark is a central neighborhood in Denver nestled on the banks of South Platte River. This is a flourishing central area and one of the most attractive spots for tourists and visitors thanks to its unique eateries. But before you start collecting the calories, pay a visit to Railyard Dog Park, a popular, pet-friendly spot located at the end of 19th Avenue. This enclosed and fully fenced dog park suits perfectly for pooches of all sizes, featuring two separate sections for active and shy hounds. There are also benches, trees, and drinking water facilities, which are occasionally out of order. Be sure to bring your own waste bags.

Barnum
A southwestern neighborhood of Denver located not far from downtown, Barnum is a nice place to explore with Fido. Federal Boulevard outlines the eastern border of the neighborhood and leads to Barnum Park, a huge recreation area located at the intersection of Federal Boulevard and Grand Army of Republic Highway. Apart from a pond, walking trails, and a water park, the park features an expansive dog park! Barnum Dog Park has a single open space with grass, trees, and benches, and welcomes pooches from all over to play off-leash and socialize together. The drinking water facilities are usually out of order, so make sure to bring your own.

Lowry
Lowry is one of the prominent eastern neighborhoods in Denver, Colorado. A former Air Force base, today, the area is home to multiple recreation spots and green parks featuring meadows, playgrounds, and occasional open-air music concerts. The neighborhood is centered on Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, offering wonderful exhibitions and opportunities to take pictures. Lowry Dog Park is one of the many green spots in the area to visit with your furry buddy. This off-leash park is the pawfect place for Fido to play the day away. Hours are from dawn to dusk. Be sure to bring some waste baggies!
