Sloan Lake
Sloan Lake is both a neighborhood and a park in Denver located about ten minutes away from Edgewater. The area was formed somewhat by accident in the 1860s, when a local farmer named Thomas Sloan accidentally hit an aquifer and flooded his entire farm. Over time, the aquifer formed what would become Denver's largerst lake, at 177 acres.
