Belcaro is a small community neighborhood with multiple parks and residential homes in the city of Denver, and only 1.4 miles west of Glendale. The area hosts the City of Brest Park, which is a small community park along Cherry Creek with an open area, paved walkways, and picnic tables. The area is perfect for running around and playing for leashed pups, although you will need to bring your own water and clean-up bags. The Cherry Creek State Park is another park on the north side of the neighborhood that provides a lush natural land to explore and relax in, with paved walkways to explore the area, and access to fish in the creek. The community of Hilltop is 1.7 miles north of Glendale in the city of Denver. The area is packed with rows of residential homes, but still provides some great spaces to walk Fido. Crammer Park has a large open field with 4 different soccer fields, and paved walkways. As long as no teams are playing, a leashed Fido will have plenty of room to run around and play in the fields. Burns Park is another area in the neighborhood that provides a nice space for Fido to get out and stretch his legs. The park is encircled by a paved walkway, with benches, water fountains, and swingsets. Dogs must remain on a leash inside this park.

Crestmoor is a suburban neighborhood on the east side of Denver, just 2 miles northeast of Glendale. The area has one of the largest parks in the area, named Crestmoor Park. There are recreational fields, open space, and 1.7 miles of walkable trails that wind through the area. There are fenced-in tennis courts, 3 baseball diamonds, and multiple soccer fields. Fido is allowed to play in the fenced-in tennis courts or can enjoy a peaceful lunch in the shaded picnic area. Dogs must remain on a leash inside the park, and can enjoy additional features, including benches, water fountains, clean-up stations, restrooms, a playground, and nighttime lights.

Washington Virginia Vale
The Washington Virginia Vale is a pretty neighborhood with residential homes and open fields in Denver, and only 1.7 miles from Glendale. Garland Park brings in a lot of visitors and residents each day thanks to its gorgeous landscape, long trails, and fishing pond. The area also has two fenced-in baseball fields, tennis courts, a playground, a bike path, and .9 miles of walkable trails for humans and pups. The City of Potenza Park is another great place to bring Fido, thanks to its shaded picnic area, open space to run around, water fountains, benches and a trail that encircles the area.
