Greenwood Village is a former simple farm town turned dynamic residential city with plenty of nationally recognized businesses and parks nearby. The town is diverse and growing every year, welcoming more and more new families into the area, many of which are bringing their fur babies with them! It is hard to believe at first glance that just fifty years ago, the area was mostly home to cows and dairy farmers! The city still manages to preserve its small-town charm, however, especially in the hospitality department.

While in Greenwood Village, there are many green spaces to explore, but the 6-acre William McKinley Carson Park, next to City Hall, is a lovely area to bring your pup for an afternoon of fun! You will meet many other four-legged friends here enjoying the hiking and bike trail, or strolling the boardwalk that allows you to walk out onto the Greenwood Gulch for a closer look. There is even a pond designated for fishing.

If you need to make sure you have reliable veterinary care for your canine co-pilot, no need to worry! There are three animal hospitals in Greenwood Village and several more less than ten minutes away in the surrounding areas.
