It is a great opportunity for locals and visitors to meet one another while enjoying the scenic trails that run through greenery and waterways. Artists are frequently seen in this park capturing different aspects of everything the area has to offer, from the water to the wildlife that calls the preserve their home. You will need plenty of energy and waste bags if you plan on sniffing out this beauty!

Sundance Valley

Sundance Valley

Sundance Valley is a lovely area with parks and restaurants that will have your dog's tail wagging for hours on end. Sundance Park is just a walk away, and Tommy Davis Park is almost 13 acres of open fields, athletic courts, a playground, pond, and trails. You will want to bring a leash and plenty of waste bags for your afternoon in this park! If you are up early with a good appetite, head over to Early Bird, where you can get breakfast and brunch on a dog-friendly, casual gated patio. The restaurant is open every day from 7 am until 2:30 pm.

Belleview Village

Belleview Village

Belleview Village is a welcoming neighborhood with luxury updated homes for sale on half-acre lots. Just a few minutes away, the award-winning Westlands Park is over 25 acres of gorgeous landscape, complete with multi-use trails that are good for hiking or biking with your pup on-leash. A harness is recommended on the trails to keep your pup comfortable. If you are bringing the whole family, there is a playground as well that has its own climbing structures built right in for a unique play experience! Just be sure to bring plenty of waste bags for the trip.

Cherry Hills is a community in the middle of Cherry Hills Village, which is a small city just a few minutes to the north of Greenwood Village. This city prides itself on being an oasis for families looking for a semi-rural environment to purchase a single-family home. There are several parks and green spaces worth sniffing out in Cherry Hills and the surrounding areas. John Meade Park has its own walking path and view of its own pond. If you travel a few minutes to the east, Three Pond Park is a woodsy trail that takes you through multiple meadows and tree canopies.

Southmoor Park is a Denver neighborhood just to the north of Greenwood Village. This area is home to Jefferson Square Park and its namesake Southmoor Park, both of which have plenty of picnic space, walking paths, open fields to play fetch on, and more fun for the whole family! Cherry Creek State Park isn't far from this part of town, and is an amazing reservoir park where you can fish, camp, kayak, and more with your favorite canine companion!
