Southridge is a lovely residential neighborhood with its own trails that connect the parks to the residential streets. Digger's at Dad Clark Park is a dog park in the area with plenty of room for off-leash fun! Hound Hill Park is another dog park where your pup can truly be a pup behind the safety of a fence. Both dog parks have waste stations and provide water fountains. If you get hungry after all of that exercise, there are lots of chain and fast food restaurants in this neighborhood, making grabbing a quick bite with your pup a breeze!

Northridge
Northridge is a friendly neighborhood with plenty of open spaces for you and your pup to enjoy. Northridge Park is one of the neighborhood parks with its own athletic fields and play areas for families. Sand Creek Park is another park just down the road with plenty of room for you to play a long game of fetch with Spot! These two parks are connected by the Dad Clark Trail. If you get hungry after your adventures in the parks, Urban Egg is a great casual brunch spot with outdoor tables that will serve you and your pup some of the best food in the area seven days a week.

Rover's Run at Red Stone Park is a local dog park that is adjacent to a fishing pond, playground, and more family-friendly activities for a nice weekend! Fido's Field At Foothills is another dog park with plenty of room to roam off-leash safely. Marcy Park and Civic Green Park are two neighborhood parks that welcome pups on leashes. If you get hungry after all of that fun in the sun, Fujiyama Sushi and Hibachi is a dog-friendly restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating where you can bring your pup along for the meal!

You can even bring your horse! The trails are great for hiking, walking, jogging, or biking with your pup. You will want to grab a map at the main entrance to plot your route, as it is easy to spend the whole day exploring! There is a dog park on the north side of the state park if you want to give your pup a break from his leash and harness for a little while.

Acres Green is a residential neighborhood with plenty of single-family homes available for families that want to move in to the area. This neighborhood is just outside of Highlands Ranch, a few minutes to the east. The neighborhood is home to Altair Park, Sweetwater Park, and Acres Green Park, all of which provide you and your pup lots of room to run and play on a nice day! You will want to bring plenty of waste bags and snacks if you plan on visiting these parks. The Willow Creek Trail connects Altair Park and Sweetwater Park if you and your pup prefer to walk instead of drive to your next destination!
