This area is home to the big, beautiful Riverdale Regional Park on Manny-Nyholt Lake. About two miles from Henderson, this area’s River Run Park has 15 acres of open space where you and Fido will have a blast exploring together. This furrific park also has a playground for kiddos, a picnic pavilion, sand volleyball courts, drinking fountains and restrooms. If you and your four-legged friend are in search of a woofderful park, look no further than Commerce City’s Villages at Buffalo Run neighborhood, about three miles from Henderson. There, you and Fido will love all the sights and sounds at Stampede Park. Nestled in a quiet residential area, this peaceful park has a huge open grassy playfrield where you and your pup can romp or work on training. There’s also a paved walking trail that makes a huge loop around the park, plus a playground for kiddos, benches and covered picnic tables. This neighborhood is also home to Villages East Park.

About three miles from Henderson, this neighborhood’s King Ranch Park is a great place for all kinds of fun activities with Fido! This. 8.6-acre park has lots of open lawn where you and your pup can play, plus a long and winding paved walking path where you two can break a sweat! King Ranch Park has a playground where two-legged children can burn off some energy, a basketball court and a covered picnic pavilion, too.
