South Westminster
South Westminster is an expansive neighborhood of Westminster located southwest of Fort Lupton. The area includes quiet residential quarters, a commercial area with shopping venues, and several recreational parks, including Little Dry Creek Dog Park in the busy area of Lowell Boulevard. This is a very pawpular place that pooches love! The dog park offers acres of space and provides seating and a gazebo where pet parents can relax in the shade. You will find no better place to bring your pup to socialize! Keep in mind that there is no separate area for small dogs, and the drinking fountains are often out of order.

Western Hills
The Western Hills neighborhood in Sherrelwood, located in the northern part of Denver, is a small yet friendly neighborhood with a wonderful surprise for a traveler with a dog. At first glance, this neighborhood seems like any other, with residential quarters and small cafes. But it's also home to Ugly Dog Sports Café, a hidden gem you'd be barking mad to miss! Alongside classic pub grub, karaoke, and pool, the bar also features an open space for pups to play off-leash. Yes, the bar has its own dog park, and you are welcome to visit it! This single enclosed area is a great place to let your buddy run and play while you sip a drink or chat with the locals inside.

Holly Street North
Holly Street runs throughout the northern part of Thornton, and it's home to Northbrook Park, a golf course, and the Veterans Memorial Aquatics Center in Trail Winds Park and Open Space. This wonderful and lush park is the perfect place to enjoy a walk with your leashed pooch along the trails before getting some canine cardio in the off-leash dog area. Trail Winds Dog Park is a pet-friendly extension with lots of grass and plenty of room to run and play. The area is very popular in the afternoon, so if your pup is a little shy, you might want to drop by in the evening, just before closing time.

The area is centered on Brighton City Sports Complex and is surrounded by multiple residential quarters and convenience stores. You'll want to head to Happy Tails Dog Park, an off-leash recreation area near the water that's hidden behind the sports complex. This is a beautiful, spacious park with a walking loop around the perimeter. Pooches will pawsitively love the reservoir where they can splash to their hearts' content! The park provides some seating and tables, but no drinking water and little shade. Also be aware that the park isn't fenced, so keep a close eye on your pooch.
