“I know pups.”
I worked as a dog walker in Boston, all my dogs loved me and I loved them. They knew they would have friends at the park or be taken care of on a solo walk. Discipline is used in the general walk - especially when crossing streets. This allows us to respect each other. Taking pictures and videos of the little guys is as much fun for me as it is for you to receive them. I have completed a certificate program in pet CPR. Your dog is in good hands.

Eagle Lake Park is another good place to spend the day with your pup. This park is about seven miles from Clearwater Beach, in Largo, and has its own off-leash dog park. Eagle Lake Park also offers a long, paved path which goes through dense forest and passes wide open fields. Leashed dogs are welcome on this trail, but remember to bring some waste bags to clean up after your pal.

This Clearwater Beach neighborhood is home to a small but lovely park where you can walk your dog on-leash: McKay Park. This park has flat and paved pathways, and there are plenty of trees to keep the park cool on hot days. Bring water and doggy bags, and enjoy walking here with your pup. If you want to get something to eat with your dog after the park, head over to Cooter’s! Dogs are welcome on their outdoor patio, and the staff will greet your pooch with a bowl of water. As your dog quenches their thirst, you can dine on delicious and fresh Florida seafood!
Want to let your dog play off-leash? Head over to Happy Tails Dog Park in Dunedin’s New Athens City neighborhood. Located nine miles from Clearwater Beach, this dog park has two fenced-in, separate areas for large and small dogs. Both areas have agility equipment for your pup to play on, and there’s drinking water available for both dogs and humans. If you want to give your dog a special treat after the dog park, take them over to Natural Pet. Glenwood is home to another furrific off-leash area, Crest Lake Dog Park. This huge dog park is only four miles from Clearwater Beach, and it has three separate fenced areas: one for small dogs, one for medium-sized dogs, and one for large dogs. All of these areas have plenty of space for your dog to run around as well as shade trees. If your dog gets thirsty while they play, water is available. If you want to go for a longer walk after your pup is finished at the dog park, put them back on their leash and take them for a stroll on the half-mile path that circles Crest Lake.
Just two miles down the road from Clearwater Beach, you’ll find Sand Key Dog Park, a pawesome place to let your pup play off-leash! Like most dog parks, this one has separate areas for large and small breeds. Both areas have grassy fields that are perfect for frolicking or games of fetch. Water is available for thirsty pooches. Want to grab some grub with your pup after playing at the park? Head over to Columbia Restaurant. This restaurant has been serving delicious Spanish and Cuban dishes since 1905! Your pup is welcome to join you on the restaurant’s two outdoor decks.
Want to take your dog for a stroll through a peaceful, wooded park? Head over to Hammock Park, which is just eight miles from Clearwater.
