This neighborhood is home to Indian Rocks Beach’s one off-leash dog run, IRB Dog Park. This dog park has one large, fenced-in field where dogs can play and make new friends. There’s also agility equipment for your dog to play on, including tunnels to run through. If your pup gets thirsty while they’re playing, water is available. When your dog is all finished playing, grab a snack or lunch with them at Café de Paris. This French bakery and café welcomes dogs at their outdoor tables, and they’ll bring a bowl of water out for your dog. As your pup enjoys their drink, you can dine on delicious crepes, pastries, and sandwiches.

Fourth Avenue

If you want to take a furrific on-leash walk with your dog, head over to Chief Chic-a-si Park. This small but beautiful park features a paved walking path that winds through groves of oak trees and past a large gazebo. Your dog will love smelling all the scents and seeing the sights at this fun park. After you’re finished with your walk, head down the road to Crabby Bills for lunch or dinner. This seafood restaurant has a large outdoor area that allows dogs. Their menu includes a wide array of locally caught seafood, including stone crab, grouper, shrimp, and mahi mahi.

Belleair Bluffs

Belleair Bluffs is just about three miles from Indian Rocks Beach, and it’s home to the pawsitively amazing Belleair Causeway Boat Ramp Dog Beach. Here, your dog can run and play off-leash on a beautiful white-sand beach. They can also go for a swim in the bright blue water of the Intercoastal Waterway. After the dog park, treat your pup to a snack from Munchies Natural Pet Foods. This locally-owned pet store offers a wide variety of nutritious treats, and they also have fun toys available for your dog. Your dog will have a pawesome time shopping at this pet store!

Sand Key Club

Sand Key Club is home to a popular off-leash area, Sand Key Dog Park. This large dog park is about five miles from Indian Rocks Beach, and it has separate areas for big and small dogs to play in. Both sides of the park feature fenced-in and grass-filled fields where your dog can frolic to their heart’s content. There are also doggy water fountains and doggy bags available in both parts of the park. When your pup is finished playing, put them back on their leash and take them for a walk on Sand Key Park’s lovely nature trail that goes through a salt marsh.

Glennwood

Glennwood is home to the Florida Botanical Gardens, which is about four miles from Indian Rocks Beach. Here, you can explore over 30 acres of cultivated gardens that are filled with native plants. There’s also a beautiful nature trail that goes through a pine forest. Dogs are welcome on-leash in this peaceful botanical garden. After you’re finished exploring the garden, go for brunch or lunch with your pup at nearby Savory. Grab a table on Savory’s dog-friendly outdoor patio, and enjoy delicious omelets, eggs benedict, wraps, burgers, and more. For a special treat, order your pup some scrambled eggs or a side of bacon!
