Take Fido out for some time off leash at the Madeira Beach Recreation Department. The dog park here has separated areas for large and small dogs, plus benches for owners to sit on. The park doesn't offer much shade, so don't forget your water or clean-up bags when you visit. If your pup isn't a fan of the dog park, take him over to Roc Park. This waterfront memorial park offers a pier, with lit sports fields and grass your pup can run on. There is a nice walking path near the water where you and Fido can get a walk in together.

150th Avenue

The Bicentennial Park is a great area to walk your dog and have a great day out. This waterfront area offers a fishing pier, kayak launch, and a small beach you and Fido can run along. After a fun day out, stop into Hinata Japanese Steakhouse for a bite to eat with your pup. They serve Japanese sushi and hibachi dishes, and even offer house specialties. The outdoor patio is dog friendly, and welcomes your four legged buddy to take a seat with you and enjoy your sushi along the water before heading out on your next adventure.

140th Avenue / 141st Avenue

The Tom and Kitty Stuart Park is a small park located right along the coast. The park offers a covered picnic area, showers, and some benches for owners to sit on. Take advantage of the walking path above the beach to get a good walk in with your furry pal and enjoy the scenery. After a fun day out, stop into The Brown Boxer Pub and Grille for a bite to eat. They dish out tasty drinks, burgers and ribs that your dog will be drooling over, and the large, shaded outdoor patio is the perfect spot to enjoy your meal with your furry pal.

Gulf Lane

If hunger strikes while you are in the Gulf Lane neighborhood with your pup, there is an array of different restaurants the two of you can dine at together. DeLosa's Pizza serves authentic New York Style pizza and hearty Italian fare, and has a deli style atmosphere with a dog friendly staff. Kilwin's Chocolates offers hand made ice cream and treats that your pup will be dying to get a lick of. The Mad Pub at Madeira Beach serves over 100 Florida craft beers in a relaxing sports bar atmosphere. Their bar also serves spirits, but they do not offer food, meaning your pup is welcome indoors. All of these great restaurants have dog friendly patios that welcome your furry pal to join you.

After your masterpiece is dry, you can take it home to have a great memory with your pup. Aftrwards, grab a bite to eat at Pirate's Pub and Grub with your dog. The restaurant sits on the John's Pass boardwalk and offes hearty grub that will have your pup wanting a lick. The waitstaff will provide water for your thirsty pup as you enjoy the sunset on their dog friendly patio.
