Lake Worth Florida is a beautiful coastal town that offers plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment for everyone. John Prince Park also recently opened the new Lake Woof Dog Park! This new park offers 5 enclosed, landscaped pup areas with designated areas for large and small dogs. The space will span over 4 acres and includes gazebos, benches, drinking fountains, and even a dog wash area! John Prince Park also hosts dog-friendly events like the Run-Walk Four Paws that is a fundraiser to raise money for the Justin Bartlett Animal Rescue!

Latana

Latana is located right on the coast overlooking the ocean. On-leash pups are welcome at Howard Park to stroll around with their owners on the paved walkways and open spaces. Maddock Park also allows on-leash doggies to enjoy their space. The park is also known to host dog friendly events like Bark in the Park, which makes for a fun event for the whole family, especially Fido! They offer fun activities like a paw print station, doggy photoshoot, look-alike contests, a talent competition and more! Does your pup need some pampering and R&R? Beach Dog Pet Salon offers full grooming, nail clipping and flea baths.

Hypoluxo

Aside from having a fun name, Hypoluxo is a fun community to explore with your four-legged baby! Palm Beach Memorial Park, Boynton Lakes Park, Meadows Park, and Intracoastal Park all allow leashed dogs to accompany you and enjoy everything the parks offer. The Crystal Garden offers animal healing workshops that teach Animal Alchemy, which informs pet owners about the energy fields of both humans and animals and teaches you how to improve your chakras. In case of an emergency, the Colonial Gateway Veterinary Center provides a full-service veterinarian hospital including a pharmacy, surgery suite with state-of-the-art technology, on-site x-ray capabilities and a supervised recovery area.

Atlantis

This Lake Worth community is surrounded green, open spaces of land. The Lost City Golf Club, Atlantis Country Club, Palm Beach Country Park, and John Prince Park make up the borders of the neighborhood, and offer plenty of space and walkways you and your leashed pup can explore together! Palm Beach Strike Zone bowling hosts a Bark and Bowl event where participants bowl under a light show with great music to dance to and tons of great prizes, not to mention drinks, team photos and the Dog House Vendor Area! All proceeds from the Bark and Bowl event benefit the NCCF.

Parker Ridge

Parker Ridge is a few minutes from the coast and conveniently located off Interstate 95. Dreher Park is home to the Palm Beach Zoo and the South Florida Science Museum and offers a Heart Par-course, fishing dock, playgrounds, barbecue grills, sand volleyball courts, open play fields, and 10 picnic pavilions of various sizes! Leashed dogs are allowed in most areas of the park. However, they also have a dog park right across from the Palm Beach County Zoo. The Dreher Dog Park has two areas designated for large and small dogs, as well as plenty of water and shade.
