However, if you do not, you can head to the Sugar Sand Park located directly west of the park. This 132-acre park has everything you could possibly need to make a Saturday full of beauty and adventure. It has multiple grassy fields, nature trails, playgrounds and even a theater! You can spend an entire day at the park because there are things to do throughout the park. Trust us, this park is nothing short of pawtastic!

Boca Pointe

Primarily a residential neighborhood, Boca Pointe is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Boca Raton. Many residents from the area frequent the pet-friendly restaurants in this neighborhood. Cannoli’s Kitchen is a local favorite, serving up authentic Italian food and unique pizzas. Mozart Cafe is also dog-friendly, so if you're hankering for something healthy, you should definitely stop by! Dogs are allowed to dine with you outside in good weather at both restaurants.

Deerfield Beach

Again, like the neighborhoods listed above, Deerfield Beach does not have any dog parks. However, it does have something better: the beach! If you drive a mere 5 miles to Deerfield Beach from Boca Raton, you can spend the day at the beach. Take some snacks, water and dog toys. You will have to take a leash with you because the beach is not an off-leash area. Make sure you also take doggie poop bags. If you want to avoid the rush, consider going to the beach early in the morning. You and your dog will have a pawsome time!

Fort Lauderdale

If you drive a mere 22 minutes to Fort Lauderdale, you will have access to some of the best dog parks in the area. The city is home to Snyder Park, Fort Lauderdale Dog Beach and Holiday Park Dog Beach. Snyder Park is a water reserve area for dogs to swim while their owners play sports and have picnics nearby. Similarly, at the Fort Lauderdale Dog Beach your dog will be able to run freely without a leash. Expect to see many other dog owners and dogs in the area, which is great for making friends and teaching your dog to socialize.

Lake Worth

If you’re one of those people who would do anything for their dog, you will have no problem driving 18 miles to Lake Worth, Florida. When you get to Lake Worth, head on over to Lantana Dog Park. This dog park is separated by dog size. It has plenty of seating for dog owners, shaded areas and water fountains. Furthermore, because it is such a popular dog park, you will definitely make some new friends while your dog socializes Trust us, if you spend an afternoon here, you and your prized pooch will have a pawsome time!
