Pompano Beach Central
Pompano Beach is a beautiful coastal town that offers quick and easy access to the beach, dining, shopping and entertainment. Canine Corner Dog Park covers 2.6 acres of fenced-in space for your pup to run around and socialize! The park features separate areas for large and small (up to 25 lbs) dogs, plus 2 dog guzzlers (fountains), 3 pet stations with dispenser and bags, benches, sidewalks, and plenty of trees. Pompano Beach also hosts many doggie social and fundraising events like a Mix and Mingle, BCC Miles for Smiles Walk & Festival, Easter Fun for Every Bunny, and Pet Expos!

North Fort Lauderdale
North Fort Lauderdale is a very dog-friendly neighborhood that is located only 6 miles south of Pompano Beach. The Off Lead Dog Pool allows your pup to play and swim in a large swimming pool with other doggies! They also offer dog day care, boarding, training, grooming and other spa services to get your pooch looking and feeling their best! Aztec Airways is a pet-friendly airline that flies into Eleuthera, Bahamas, and other destinations. The airline also provides private charters in Florida, Cuba, and the Bahamas, which can seat up to 9 passengers, but they can take out seats to accommodate pups of all sizes!

Central Business District
The Central Business District area is located off Interstate 95 and highway 811. Oakland Park loves pets! Bark Park is located adjacent to Royal Palm Park at 971 NW 38th Street. The dog park features separate fenced areas for large dogs and small dogs, as well as parking for 30 vehicles. Structures provide additional exercise and agility training to keep your pooch in tip top shape! Remember to pack some water and doggie waste bags. Plenty of locals visit this park, so you and Fido are sure to make some new fur-iends! Remember, Fido will need to be on his leash if he wants to explore the rest of the park with you.

Margate is a beautiful family friendly oriented community that offers access to the Fern Forest Nature Center and the nearby Windmill Dog Park! Windmill Dog Park is a off-leash dog park that is fully fenced in and includes a separate area for smaller pets, water, toys and a shade pavilion. BRGR STOP hosts an annual dog friendly Dress Your Dog Day & Dog Adoption event where free doggie ice cream and puppy burgers will be provided for those on four legs. Burgers and other food and drink are available for purchase for those of us with two legs.

Kendal Green is a northern neighborhood in Pompano Beach and they love dogs! Chef K9's Doggy Bistro & Bakery was born out of their desire to help them live long, healthy lives. They specialize in cooking breed-specific, gourmet meal plans for dogs that are freshly prepared, using only the finest farm-fresh ingredients. All diets are also prepared by hand, and they never add any chemicals, preservatives, artificial flavorings/colors, by-products, salts, or meat meals.
