If you’re looking for a great place to take your dog for an on-leash walk, head to Plantation Heritage Park. This park is just five miles from Roosevelt Gardens, and it has a couple different trails you can explore with your dog. If you want to walk through groves of native trees, check out the Anne Kolb Memorial Trail. This trail passes by a tropical hardwood hammock, coastal strand forest, and pine flatwoods. The park also has a paved 1.25-mile fitness trail you can walk on with your pup. Bring water and doggy bags, and have a furrific day out at this park!

Want to spend the day at the beach with your dog? Head to Hollywood Dog Beach! Located 11 miles from Roosevelt Gardens, this beautiful white-sand beach allows dogs off-leash. While you’re here, you and your pup can swim, sunbathe, and take walks together. To use the beach, you’ll have to pay a small fee.
