Dog Areas in Sea Ranch Lakes

Just east of Lake Seneca, Sea Ranch Lakes is a village of fewer than 700 residents on the coast of Florida. Nestled between Pompano Beach and Fort Lauderdale, it’s a quiet but accessible community with many dog-friendly amenities, including nearly fifty veterinarians within five miles.

Canine Corner Dog Park can be found five miles north, in Pompano Beach, FL. This 2.6-acre park has two separate areas for both large and small dogs as well as water access. There are bags, benches, and doggie bags aplenty at this quaint park -- just be ready to pay the park’s $5 admission fee if you don’t have an annual pass. For a bite to eat in Pompano Beach, check out Galuppi’s, Cafe Maxx, or 26 Degree Brewing Company; all of these restaurants have Fido-friendly seating!

Just five miles down the road, you can find the Hugh Taylor Birch State Park. This gorgeous, well-maintained oasis welcomes leashed pups on its several paved walkways. It offers several nature trails and a puptastic view of the ocean. There is a small admission fee of $6, but that gives you and Fido all-day access to the park’s trails, picnic and camping areas, the beach, and more!

Sea Ranch Lakes is a beautiful, quiet community away from all the bustle of Florida beach cities. Thankfully, though, it’s extremely close to many local restaurants and parks that welcome four-legged friends. Get out there and check them out!
