Village Grille and Village Pump is a furtastic place to bring your dog after a nice walk along the beach. They are only about a block from the beach. Just 7 miles from Lauderdale by the Sea is the famous city of Fort Lauderdale. Here, there are lots of opportunities for you to spend the entire day with your dog. One of the places to check out is Fort Lauderdale Canine Beach. This is an on-leash dog beach that will allow you to ride the waves with your dog. They provide drinking water for you and your buddy. You’ll appreciate the cleaning stations that are set up with baggies. It is a little close to a busy road, but there is a safety officer to help make sure that your dog stays safe. If you go 17 miles from Lauderdale by the Sea, you will get to Canine Cove at South County Regional Park in Boca Raton. It is a completely fenced-in dog park that has separate areas for little dogs or dogs that get overwhelmed easily. There are water stations set up to make sure that Fido always has fresh water to drink. The ground does tend to get muddy after a good rain, but don’t worry too much about it. There are bathing centers where you can wash the dirt and mud from Fido’s fur before hopping back in the car and heading home.
