Kal enjoyed a lot. This was a very refreshing and great first experience with Wag. Thank you Samantha for being so nice with him and understanding the mess of a home we have at the moment. Hopefully Kal can go out with you some other time.

Performance Pups Freshwater Dog Beach is the pawfect place to bring your dog if you would like to give him a chance to swim. The entire area is fenced in so that you can let your dog off of her leash to have a splashin' good time. There is a fee to get in -- you can pay it at the front gate. They only take cash. There are benches where you can watch your dog swim. Humans are not allowed to swim in this freshwater lake, though. It is a grrreat place to socialize your dog and let them cool off in the water!

Linear Park starts at Fifth Avenue and runs southeast to Tenth Avenue. This park features a walking path with benches along the way. There is exercise equipment as well. Your dog is welcome to come and stretch his legs with you, but he'll need to be on a leash. You will want to have plenty of water with you because there aren't any fountains along the trail. Some waste bags are always handy, too. This park is open from dawn until dusk all year long. Come and get some exercise in the sun. You and your dog will pawsitively love this well-maintained walking trail!

Mildred V. Jones was a lover of the city. She believed that each person that lived and played here should strive to better the community. She was an active voice for the parks. That is why when she passed away the city named this section after her. There is a quiet walking path, benches that overlook the water, and a general sense of peace within the park. You and your dog can walk the paved trail beside the water and feel like you are a million miles away from your hectic life. This is a hidden gem that where you won't find a lot of tourists, so it's perfect for an outing with a shy pup.

Dania Cove Park is a scenic park located right next to the Mangrove Cove. There are a lot of waterfront activities, like fishing and boating, here. The exercise trail is pawfect for walking your dog. You do want to keep your dog on a leash at all times because of the trail's proximity to the water. Keep your camera ready so that you can snap some photos of the native wildlife, like alligators and snakes. Bring water, because there is no running water or water fountains, and don't forget to pack some waste bags so you can help keep the park clean.

The Dania Beach Bar is an amazing restaurant. Besides running the clean-up projects for the local beaches, they also have live music. You and your dog can come grab an outdoor table and watch the waves while sipping on your favorite drink. The vibe is so laid-back and relaxing that you won't want to leave! It's definitely an exciting place to be on the weekends. Just be sure that your dog can handle the loud music and crowds before you bring him, and he'll need to be leashed, of course. So what are you waiting for? Come grab a burger and relax for a bit!
