Performance Pups Freshwater Dog Beach is the pawfect place to bring your dog if you would like to give him a chance to swim. The entire area is fenced in so that you can let your dog off of her leash to have a splashin' good time. There is a fee to get in -- you can pay it at the front gate. They only take cash. There are benches where you can watch your dog swim. Humans are not allowed to swim in this freshwater lake, though. It is a grrreat place to socialize your dog and let them cool off in the water!

Linear Park starts at Fifth Avenue and runs southeast to Tenth Avenue. This park features a walking path with benches along the way. There is exercise equipment as well. Your dog is welcome to come and stretch his legs with you, but he'll need to be on a leash. You will want to have plenty of water with you because there aren't any fountains along the trail. Some waste bags are always handy, too. This park is open from dawn until dusk all year long. Come and get some exercise in the sun.
