Hallandale Beach
Hallandale Beach is home to a park called Joseph Scavo Park. This park is pretty barktastic! It is the largest park in the area and features a walking trail that circles two separate dog parks -- one for big dogs and one for little dogs -- and a basketball court. The dog parks have doggie waste centers, water stations, and are fenced so that you and your dog can enjoy your day safely. There are benches for you to sit on while you watch your pup play. All dogs must be current on vaccinations, and you have to provide proof of vaccinations to play here.

Haulover Beach
Haulover Beach in Miami Beach is about twenty miles from Hallandale. This neighborhood features two separate dog areas. The first is a fenced-in dog area with water stations and cleaning stations. There are shaded benches so that you can sit and watch your dog play. There's also a doggie beach area beside LifeGuard Tower 3! This is not fenced in, though. You can let your dog off their leash only if they are voice trained and very well-behaved. There is no fee to get into either area, but there is a fee for parking. You will have to keep your dog on-leash while walking to and from your car.

North Beach
In the North Beach neighborhood of Miami Beach, you'll find a furrific Bark Beach. It's a little over twenty miles from Hallandale, but it's a barktastic place to play with your pup! There are eight blocks for you and your dog to enjoy the sand and surf. You don't need a leash if your dog is well-behaved and will stay with you. There is no fence, though, so be careful if you have a runner. You will want to bring drinking water because this is an open space without many amenities. Afterward, enjoy a walk through the neighboorhood to dry off before you get in the car.

Venetian Islands
Belle Isle Dog Park in Miami Beach is a fenced dog park where you can let your dog off her leash to get some exercise. It is a small dog park, but there are two areas for small and large breeds to play in. The park provides water and cleaning supplies for you. Locals love this park because it is naturally shaded and offers some impressive views. Parking is tricky to find here -- you'll have to walk over the bridge to get from the parking area to the dog park. You will want a leash for this short walk. The park is open daily until dark.

South Beach
If your hyper hound isn't tuckered out yet, make one more stop while you're in Miami Beach: Flamingo Dog Park. While this park is a larger dog park, it has more dirt than grass, so watch out for muddy paws after a rain. There are no beach views either. However, to make up for that, the park provides furrific agility equipment! Water stations are also available for you as well as your dog. The cleaning stations are always stocked and ready for you to use. This is an off-leash dog park. There is no fee for the park or for the parking.
