Just 28 miles from Davie, hidden in Miami Beach, is Haulover Beach Park. This bark park offers closed areas for dogs to run and play safely in the sand and sun. You will find a find a picnic area so that you and your dog can sit and enjoy lunch as well as cleaning stations. There is lots of room to run or play fetch with Fido. When you are all done, be sure to take advantage of the shower station to rinse the sand off out of Fido’s fur before hitting the road back home.

Plantation

You will want to jump in the car and drive the quick 12 miles to Plantation for Happy Tails Dog Park at Seminole Park. This park is nothing to bark at. It has everything that a pup could want. There is always an event coming up, so be sure to check out the bulletin board on your way to the agility course. Besides that, there are two separate areas for just running off leash and enjoying the fresh air. No one has forgotten about the humans, either. There are plenty of shady sitting areas as wells as restrooms for you to use.

Pembroke Pines

If you are looking for a newly updated dog park that has everything you will need, take a 16-mile trip to Johnson Street Dog Park. There are two separate areas so that dogs can play safely no matter what size they are! Each area has several water stations as well. Your pal can show off on the agility course or play fetch with you. There are lots of sitting areas for you to rest if Fido tires you out. When you are all finished, just wash the grass and dirt out of Fido’s fur at the washing station before heading home.

Sunrise

In just 15 minutes, you can be in Sunrise, the pawfect place to play in the water with your dog. Canine Beach is the place to go if you are looking for somewhere to run in the sand and splash in the waves. You will need to get you a permit before using the park, but yearly passes are available so that you can go whenever you want. This is an on-leash dog beach, but everyone is friendly and there is plenty of space to play. Canine Beach is the perfect spot to play frisbee or relax in the Florida sun.

Fort Lauderdale

While it may be a 20-minute ride, Riverwalk Linear Dog Park is just the right place to go to enjoy a day of exercise. It may be difficult to find a parking spot, but walking there is just as much fun as being there. The entire river walk is fur-friendly with restaurants and shops along the way. Please remember that your dog will need to be on a leash. Meet some new friends or join some old acquaintances for a fun day filled with barktacular scenery! There is so much to do, see, and smell that your best pal will want to visit often.
