The Fort Lauderdale Canine Beach is a section of Fort Lauderdale Beach where dogs are allowed. You will need a permit for beach access, and there is a park ranger there to enforce this rule. Once you're in, both you and your dog will have an excellent time playing in the sand and surf with other dogs and their owners at this classic Floridian beach. Snyder Park
Another hot spot for dogs and dog owners that is just a short drive from Boca del Mar is the Dog Swim and Bark Park in Snyder Park in Fort Lauderdale. This is basically Disneyworld, but for dogs!
