Fort Lauderdale Beach

Fort Lauderdale has its very own canine beach, and more great news is that it's only a 27-minute drive from Boca Del Mar! The Fort Lauderdale Canine Beach is a section of Fort Lauderdale Beach where dogs are allowed. You will need a permit for beach access, and there is a park ranger there to enforce this rule. Once you're in, both you and your dog will have an excellent time playing in the sand and surf with other dogs and their owners at this classic Floridian beach. The park also provides doggy waste bags, and there are showers for rinsing sand off at the end of your visit.

Snyder Park

Another hot spot for dogs and dog owners that is just a short drive from Boca del Mar is the Dog Swim and Bark Park in Snyder Park in Fort Lauderdale. This is basically Disneyworld, but for dogs! It has a separate section for little dogs, a clean dog beach, off-leash areas and even an agility course for adventurous dogs to use. The greater Snyder Park has plenty of other things for the whole family to do including picnicking, volleyball, basketball, and playgrounds. There are also grills and pavilions that are fantastic spots for gathering with family and friends.

West Boca Raton

In just over 15 minutes, you can drive from Boca del Mar to west Boca Raton and visit Canine Cove at South County Regional Park. This dog park is a local favorite, and visitors love how clean and well-maintained it is as well as how friendly the two and four-legged visitors are! There are separate sections for big and small dogs as well as a rinse station when it's time to go home. Visitors of the two-legged variety will appreciate the gazebos for shade from the Florida sun as well as several benches where you can take a rest.

Lake Ida

Did you know you can get to Delray Beach, Florida from Boca del Mar in under 20 minutes? Well, it's true! And in Delray Beach, you'll find the Lake Ida Dog Park which is a doggie's dream! The Lake Ida Dog Park has separate sections for big and small dogs, and there is also drinking water for both humans and dogs to enjoy! Visitors love how friendly the other dogs and their owners are, and it is definitely worth making the quick drive to make it to this excellent park. If your pup likes to get dirty when they play, there is even a washing off station so you can clean Rover up before you head home.

Central Wellington

There is another great dog park that is just a short drive from Boca del Mar in the central Wellington, Florida neighborhood. The Wellington Dog Park has three separate sections for small, medium, and large dogs so your pooch can play safely with dogs of similar sizes, and it is only a 38-minute drive from Boca del Mar. There is also a large area with a shelter over it in case it begins to rain, or you need a break from the sun. It's also a nice play to relax and watch your pet play because there is plenty of seating available for guests. You and your pooch are sure to have a doggone fun time at the Wellington Dog Park!
