East Peachtree City
Everyone knows there is no shortage of natural beauty, open spaces and animal-friendly locations in the great state of Georgia. If you live in Peachtree City, you are incredibly lucky because not only do you have access to everything beautiful in the state of Georgia, but you are also able to take your dog to a park that is solely dedicated to their needs and wants! Head to the Peachtree City Dog Park, located in east Peachtree City. This off-leash dog park is located on the McIntosh Trail within the city and welcomes dogs of all sizes and breeds.

Camp Drive
Located approximately 25 miles from the heart of Peachtree City is the city of College Park. It is home to one dog park, Canine Crossing. This adorable dog park is the first dog park to be built in South Fulton County. It is over five acres in size and has two fenced in areas: one for small dogs and the other for large dogs. It also has plenty of dog agility training equipment such as concrete tunnels and swings. This park is full of activities that will occupy your dog as you rest and catch up on some reading!

Downtown Atlanta
Often referred to as ‘the Capital of the South’, the great city of Atlanta has plenty to offer to dog owners. It is home to ten dog parks: Piedmont Dog Park, Chattahoochee River National Recreational Area, Park Grounds, Railside Dog Park at Castleberry Hill, Frankie Allen Park, Renaissance Park Dog Park, Centennial Olympic Park, Woodruff Park, Grant Park, Freedom Park and Oakland Cemetery. In addition to all these dog parks, the city has plenty of dog-friendly shopping centers, restaurants and specialty dog stores. Some parks are off-leash, but it is best to keep your leash handy in case you want to go shopping or have dinner in the city. Trust us, the drive into the big city is definitely worth it!

Downtown Marietta
Although the drive from Peachtree City to Marietta is long -- approximately fifty miles -- it is a wonderfurr place to take your pup. This city is primarily a residential zone and has little city life, making it an ideal place for nature lovers. There are two dog parks in the city: the Lewis Dog Park and Sweat Mountain Dog Park. These parks are off-leash and have plenty of space for you and your dog to play and run around. Just make sure you take your own doggie poop bags and water bowls! Although the drive can be tedious, your dog will love you for immersing them in the gorgeous scenery and nature that Marietta has to offer.

Central Alpharetta
If you drive nearly 60 miles northwest of Peachtree City, you will find yourself in the city of Alpharetta. This beautiful city is home to 3 dog parks, the Newton Dog Park, WolfBrook Dog Club and Park and the Waggy World Paw Park at Wills Park. The Wolfbrook Dog Club and Park is like a country club for doggies, so some advance screening and payment are required for entry. The other two dog parks welcome dogs of all sizes and breeds. They are also off-leash and large enough for your dog to run, play and enjoy themselves!
