Southampton
This is the area in Tyrone to go for a great bite to eat when visiting with your dog, as there are a few pup-friendly restaurants here. Wings and Things serve a selection of chicken dishes as well as sandwiches, burgers and cold drinks. Zesto is an old-school diner-style place with a variety of burgers, hot dogs, a selection of sides, specialty sandwiches and ice creams. Partners II Pizza offers a delicious array of Italian-inspired dishes, such as calzones, pasta and, of course, pizza. At each of these places, your pup is welcome to join you at one of the outside tables.36

Shake Rag
A short drive south of Tyrone is Peachtree City, where you will find the lovely Smokerise Park to stretch your legs. There are lots of great walking trails both in the park and surrounding areas, with lovely views of Lake Kendron. If you are looking for a pup-friendly place to eat around here, head to Azul Tequila Taqueria & Cantina Lounge for lunch at one of their pet-friendly outside tables. Enjoy a Mexican feast of nachos, fajitas, soups, salads or enchiladas. Clover
Take some time out with your pup to wander through the Line Creek Nature Area in Peachtree City, set amongst 70 acres of public preserve. Well-marked and maintained trails make for an easy walk and cover around three miles, from the creek up into the woods. Keep your pup on a lead through here and make sure you clean up after him. Bring water for you both and a doggie drinking bowl. After your walk, head to Los Mariachis for a Mexican-inspired lunch, or the Flying Biscuit Café for a salad, sandwich or wrap. Your dog is welcome to join you at both of these places at one of their outside tables.12

W Lanier Ave/Grady Ave
The Ridge Nature Preserve in Fayetteville is a picturesque place to take Fido for a walk and a must-see if in the area. Located between two creeks, this newly-developed area offers numerous hiking trails on over 308 acres of natural bushland. Get your bearings at the site map, located at the entrance to the park, and see if you can find the rest area with the three big oaks. There are picnic areas and toilet facilities here, so pack yourself some lunch and make a day of it! Make sure you also take plenty of drinking water for you both and clean up bags for pup.
