Simpsonwood Park in North Peachtree Corners is a slice of doggy heaven on earth. This 223-acre retreat has almost everything your dog needs to have a good time. Though pups have to be leashed in the park, there’s so much to explore that he won’t even know it! Follow trails around and through this park, crossing meadows, tree lined paths, and even over streams and bridges. The park also has a campground area, BBQ grills for the perfect family gathering, and more! High energy dogs will love to hit the trails with you! Calmer pups can still enjoy getting back to nature in a park that feels a hundred miles from the city.

East Peachtree Corners
Holcomb Bridge Park is a 12-acre park with a lot to offer. Despite being smaller in size than some other Peachtree Corners parks, this park fits it all elegantly together. There are a few short walking paths that you and your dog can explore together. They’re great for dogs with short legs, or owners who don’t want to spend all afternoon walking! Holcomb Bridge Park also has a gorgeous view of the river. Kids will enjoy the playground, too! Your dog has to stay leashed in the park. Bring along a doggie bowl to fill at thw water fountain and keep your dog hydrated!

North Norcross
Hop in your car and drive just five minutes into the neighboring area of North Norcross in Norcross, and you’ll find the Pickneyville Park & Soccer Complex. This sprawling park has a lot to offer. Obviously, there’s the soccer fields. Sadly, it is in the rule book that a dog can’t play soccer. You can still have a lot of fun walking around the fields or the playground, but there’s something better. This park has a dog run! This fenced in, off leash area is perfect for social dogs who love to meet new friends! The dog run is light on obstacles and enrichments in favor of more room to roam, so bring a toy or two!

Seven minutes from the heart of Peachtree Corners is Central Norcross. This neighborhood in Norcross is home toThrasher Park. This public green space is an excellent place to take your dog and relax. The park features play equipment, but most of it is green lawns and space to sprawl. There’s an ampitheater for local performances, as well as a picnic table area that make any lunch time a great time to be outside. Your dog will enjoy the sights and smells of nature through this park. This is a great place to head if you need to work off some energy from an excitable dog, but don’t want to be around a huge crowd.
