North Rock Spring
In 2010, Rock Spring's very own dog park opened up, and it's located in the northern part of town. This off-leash park is called the NGAL Dog Park at Walker County Civic Center, and it's a one-acre space. The Walker County Civic Center sits on about 20 acres of land, and it also has a walking trail that's pawfect for walking your dog on a leash, and there are also playgrounds, pavilions, meeting rooms, and other park activities. Your dog is welcome to join you in other outdoor park areas, but they're required to be on a leash. Don't forget to bring drinking water for your pup!36

Lakemont
Dalton is a city in Whitfield County, Georgia of more than 33,000 people, and the south-central area of the city is about 25 miles from Rock Spring. This area is where you'll find the Lakeshore Dog Park. This is the only dog park in the county, and it consists of a one-acre enclosure for dogs of all sizes to run and play. The rest of Lakeshore Park sits on 45 acres of land, and there is also a fishing pond, sports fields and courts, a walking path, and playgrounds. Your pooch can come along with you to other parts of Lakeshore Park if they're on their leash.24

Southside Historic District
If you and your doggo drive about half an hour north across the Georgia/Tennessee border, you'll arrive in an area of Chattanooga known as Southside Historic District. This area is also where you'll find the Chattanooga Chew Chew Canine Park. This spacious off-leash area includes separate sections for big and small dogs, as well as a variety of agility equipment where brave pups can show off for their friends. Some visitors note that, while there is a water source at the park, it often doesn't work, so bring your own drinking water just in case. There are also waste disposal items and seating areas for visitors to the park.12

White Oak
Southeastern Red Bank, Tennessee is about a 30-minute drive from Rock Spring, and this area is also where you'll find the Red Bank Dog Park. Located in the White Oak Community, Red Bank Dog Park is an off-leash space with a separate enclosure just for small dogs. There are water fountains for dogs, play fire hydrants, and waste disposal items at the park, and there's also a variety of seating for pet parents. This dog park is located next to White Oak Park, a spacious city park with plenty of activities for the whole family to enjoy. Your dog can enjoy these activities with you in White Oak Park as long as they're on a leash.
