Around 24 miles away from Villa Rica, you'll find Pitner Road Dog Park located in South Acworth. This park is the perfect spot for you and your pup for some off-leash exercising and socializing. The park is properly fenced and has separate areas for large dogs and small dogs. You'll find a wooded area to explore in addition to an open area which is the pawfect place to play. The park is very clean and there is a lot of shade, which makes it suitable for those hot summer days. Water is available on-site, and you aren't allowed to bring in water for yourself or your dog.

If you are interested in visiting another park that is a little bit closer to Villa Rica, check out Deer Lick Park. The park is located around 15 miles east of Villa Rica in East Douglasville. The park includes separate areas for large and small dogs and it is properly fenced. If you're visiting this park, you should bring your own water and poop bags to clean up after your pooch. The ground is covered in grass, and, although there isn't much shade, it's a very nice place for tiring your puppy out. There's also plenty of parking close by.

Battlefield Park

Even though Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park is located 27 miles from Villa Rica, you'll want to travel the distance for your dog! The park isn't designated specifically for dogs, but they are welcome to accompany you here. The park is located in Kennesaw and is a pretty large park that includes lots of trails and places for running and hiking. Dogs are allowed on-leash, but make sure you bring lots of water, snacks, and poop bags with you because you're such an awesome "pawrent"! There are markers every half a mile so you won't get lost walking the trails. The paths up the mountain are paved.

Virginia Highland

Piedmont Dog Park is located in the Virginia Highland neighborhood of Atlanta, approximately 34 miles from Villa Rica. The park is off-leash, but dogs have to be leashed while entering or exiting the park. Cleaning up after your pooch is a must here! There is a separate area for smaller dogs under 30 lbs. There are plenty of benches in the park so the dog pawrents can sit and watch over their fur babies. You'll find drinking water and waste baggies here, so the only thing you need to bring is your pal's favorite toy. The maximum dogs that a person can bring is three.
Central Marietta

Central Marietta

Around 32 miles away from Villa Rica, you'll find Lewis Dog Park in central Marietta, Georgia. This park is well-maintained and has separate areas for small and large dogs. Unfortunately, some breeds, including pit bulls and rotties, are banned from entering the park. There is a water fountain in the park and benches for sitting. You won't find much shade here, but there are shaded picnic tables for human visitors. The ground is grass, making it perfect for running and exercising without hurting the paws. Waste bags are also available for cleaning up after your pup.
