“Your pup(s) will have fun on their walks with me!”

Aloha! My name is Norma! I’ve owned large breed dogs all my life; Akitas, Doberman Pinschers, Pit/terrier mixes, Aussies. More recently, our pups were two small Jack Russell terriers. Our current ‘kids’ are a Ridgeback hound mix and a small poi pup. I’m hoping to meet and walk more pups that need exercise and mental stimulation!

Hi, my name is Heather. I’m 29 years old with 2 kids!! I have 8 total pets 2 cats back on the mainland and 3 dogs, a cat and 2 birds here with me. Back home I used to pet sit in my home and for pets in their own home. I have had to administer meds to some of the old timers and had to deal with hyper dogs , dogs with anxiety, and dogs who are not animal friendly . I have always loved and owned animals but the times where I couldn’t I have always found a way to be with them.

I am a Vermonter and grew up with a dachshund and a black lab. I cared for them growing up and l have loved all dogs my whole life. In the past I have walked my neighbors dogs and I take care of my girlfriend's dog currently. When I was living in Italy I walked my Boss' dog Pino all the time in Florence and he would only go on walks with me or his mom/dad. Pino wouldn't let anyone else take him on a walk. He only likes certain people that know what he likes best. I am currently living in Delmar, NY.

“Join the pack!”

Hey there and welcome to my profile, my name is Isela. I’ve been walking and sitting dogs professionally for 3 years now, but have been volunteering in pet care for years. I love volunteering as a photographer at my local animal shelter and foster animals in need. I have 2 cattle dogs of my own, which has taught me a lot about high energy dogs and the importance of physical and mental stimulation. Does your pup need walks, runs or a couch buddy? I’d love to help you out with your best friend!

Dog Walking in Kahuku

With a population of just over 2,500, Kahuku is a quiet community in northern Honolulu County, Hawaii. Because of its isolated location, there aren’t many amenities available for dogs and their owners other than about seven veterinarians available within twenty-five miles. However, if you’re willing to take a drive, Honolulu County has a lot to offer!

Up for a walk? Head on over to Kapa‘ele‘ele Ko’a Trail, just thirty minutes south of Kahuku in Kaneohe, HI. Nestled in the Ahupuaʻa ʻO Kahana State Park, this one-mile walking path offers historic (and scenic) views. Your dog must be leashed, but plenty of shade and fantastic photo opportunities await you on this trail -- just don’t forget to bring water!

If you’re in the mood for a park, drive thirty miles south of Kahuku to Kailua, HI. Leashed pups are welcome on the white sand beaches of Kailua Beach Park; just make sure your dog’s license tag is clearly visible, and you’re good to go. Tucked away in residential Kailua is Kalama Dog Park, which is complete with water fountains and human bathroom amenities. The park is essentially a large, open, fenceless field -- so as long as you keep an eye on Fido, he’s free to romp and play!

No matter where you go in Kahuku’s neighboring community, you and your best furry friend are guaranteed scenic views, quality time, and a pawesome local experience.
