Central Ackworth consists of a small strip with a gas station and a post office. As you travel down this strip, you will get a feel for the neighborhood with neighbors who all know one another. The neighbors are welcoming to travelers, and love to make new friends with their canine copilots! Your dog’s tail will be ready to wag itself right off when she sees all of the space there is to run around in in Ackworth. There is abundant grass and limited light pollution, so a nighttime walk is a great way to see the stars in a new way while your dog gets her exercise in the moonlight.
