Hawk Hollow is an off-leash dog park with three multi-purpose trails leading to other trails in Mallard Lake and West Branch forest preserves. There are two fenced-in areas for dogs to ruff-house, but don't worry — aggressive dogs haven't been a problem at Hawk Hollow. The preserve requires an easily acquired permit for your dog to walk off-leash. Also, remember to bring water and a bowl for your dogs to drink. Other than that, your dogs will be howling at the Hollow!
