Weather Rock Campground, just north of Evansville, is a laid-back and beautiful area! The site features a well-kept playground and a large pond where you can catch and release fish. There's also a mini-golf course! Fido can always join you, but keep them leashed. The community also features several hotels, including Baymont by Wyndham in the southern part of Haubstadt, and a few more on the northern border of Evansville. All are pet-friendly!

Mount Auburn is a primarily residential neighborhood in Evansville, just west of Pigeon Creek and the central area. It’s a quiet spot with fast-food restaurants and a commercial district along Buchanan Rd. Mesker Park, which is a zoo and a botanical garden, is a pet-friendly area to sniff out an adventure! (Pups must remain leashed, though.) Plenty of species in the zoo and tons of wildflowers in the gardens are waiting for visitors! The walking trails are just pawfect for a stroll. Eleventh Avenue Park is another park in Mount Auburn and a quiet spot to have a mindful walk with Fido. There’s not much to see here, but the surroundings are peaceful, making it an ideal spot to wind down after a long day.
