City Center
One of the best things about Huntingburg is that it has its very own bark park! It is a members-only dog park, but you can go to city hall and get a visitor pass if you are just visiting the area. Be sure to bring proof of current vaccinations with you. The Huntingburg Bark Park is an off-leash park where you can let your dog socialize in a safe environment. Water is available, and the cleaning station is always stocked with doggie waste bags, so all you need is plenty of energy to play. You and Fido will pawsitively love this well-maintained park!36

Newton Street
Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt is also in Jasper. It is the pawfect place to stop for a frozen treat. They offer a wide selection of treats to mix in with your yogurt. The outdoor tables are pet-friendly and a great place to do some people-watching. You will need to keep your pup on a leash, but the patio is wide enough for him to join you comfortably. The locals love this spot because it is a barktastic place to visit with friends -- don't be surprised to see a crowd when you arrive. Oh, and don't forget to get your pup a treat, too!24

Main Street
Monkey Hollow Winery Restaraunt is a family owned and operated restaurant located in Ferdinand, which is about ten miles away. You can bring your dog with you to tour the winery and to eat. The outdoor seating is a refreshing place to try new wines and take in the beauty of the countryside. There are some rules, though. Dogs cannot go inside any buildings. They must stay on a leash at all times. No aggressive dogs are allowed. You should call ahead and let them know that you have your dog with you before your visit.12

North State Road
You'll have to drive just about thirty miles to get to Rockport, but trust us -- the drive is well worth it for a doggie movie date! The Holiday Drive-in lets you bring your pup with you to catch the latest showings. There is a concession stand where you can get all your favorite movie snacks like popcorn and hotdogs. You cannot ever leave your dog alone, not even in your car. You have to keep him on a leash as well. It is the pawfect place for a family movie night! Just remember to stop by the ATM first because this retro spot is cash only.
