Make sure you bring your own water since there isn’t any available here. However, poop bags are provided so you can clean up after your pup. Bring some toys and a towel, and get ready for a pawfect day at the beach!

Lincoln Street

If you want to visit a grassy park that's rich with hills, trees, and trails, as well as a place where your four-legged buddy can swim his heart out, you're in the right neighborhood! Surrounded by water on three sides and enclosed on the other, Stodder's Neck Park has it all! It is around 30 miles away from Marblehead, but the short trip is well worth it. You'll have to bring your own water, but bowls are provided as well as poop bag stations. For the human visitors, there are benches and picnic tables where you can enjoy fresh air and wonderful views! There's also parking near the park, so you and Fido won't have to walk far to get to this furrific spot!

Castle Island

Around 18 miles away from Marblehead is another dog-friendly beach where you and Fido can have some fun in the sun. Castle Island Beach can be found on Castle Island, which is located in South Boston. Dogs have to be on-leash while they are on this beach, but that doesn’t mean that they won’t have plenty of fun digging in the sand and dipping their paws in the water! There is plenty of parking in the vicinity of the beach. Make sure you bring fresh water and waste bags for your pup. The beach is perfect for relaxing! Here, you'll find folks grilling out, enjoying picnics, fishing, and flying kites. The best part is, your furry friend can join in on the fun!

South End

In South End, Boston, you'll find Peter's Park, where you can take your dog to romp around with other pups! This park is the right choice for those of you who love the security of an enclosed off-leash park where small dogs and the large dogs have their own separate areas. There is a water fountain and the ground is covered in white pea gravel, which makes it easy to clean. Make sure to bring your own waste bags, since none are provided at the park. Your pooch will love playing on the rock obstacles at this pawesome park!

Cambridgeport

Twenty miles southwest of Marblehead is Fresh Pond Reservation Dog Park. Located in Cambridgeport, this park offers amenities that both humans and canines can appreciate, such as thick shade throughout most of the park, nice paths to walk on, and even two ponds! Although resident pets are allowed off-leash, other dogs that do not live in Cambridge have to stay on-leash. Dogs are not allowed on most of the paved paths, but they are allowed to swim in the ponds. Make sure you bring your own water and waste bags. Oh, and don't fur-get a towel!
