Being in the Potomac Palisades Conservation Park will make you feel like you're out in the country, even though it's only 1.6 miles from Glen Echo. Situated on the banks of the Potomac River in neighboring Bethesda, this 5-acre park remains undeveloped since it is dedicated to environmental preservation. You and Fido can access the Potomac Palisades at the end of a residential street. Enjoy the natural environment and breathe in the fresh air as you take a leashed walk along the river. Because the park is home to various wildlife, you and your pup may encounter squirrels, hawks, raccoons, and other animals while you're there.
