This puptastic neighborhood is located 18 miles from Freeport, Maine and is home to the Quarry Run Dog Park. This off-leash dog park encompasses a large fenced-in area as well as a smaller fenced-in area. The areas are separated by dog size so they will have a better time at this park playing with other canine friends their own size. If your pooch is more of a loner, there is plenty of area for them to explore on their own. You will want to bring waste bags and water with you. There are some trees that provide shade. Right outside of the fenced-in areas are acres of trails for you and your pooch to explore. These trails are fairly easy to navigate and are natural, covered with dirt and grass. Grab your pup’s leash and see how far you two can get on the trails!

If you and your pooch are looking for a great beach to check out this neighborhood has just the one for you. Willard Beach is located 21 miles from Freeport. In the summer months, dogs are free to run along the beach off of their leash. However, they must be under voice control. The sand is soft and the surf is calm, and your pooch will love playing in both here! You will want to bring extra water, an umbrella for shade, and doggie bags for cleaning up.
