If you’re looking for a furtastic off-leash area for your pup, head to North Deering and check out Quarry Run Dog Park. Located 13 miles from North Yarmouth, this off-leash park includes two separate fenced areas: one for large dogs and one for small dogs. Both areas have lots of space for dogs to run and make new friends, and water and doggy bags are available. If you want to get a sweet treat after the dog park, head over to Beal’s Old-Fashioned Ice Cream. This ice cream shop welcomes dogs at their outdoor tables, and they serve over a hundred flavors of ice cream.

In summer, dogs can only go on the beach from 7:00 to 9:00 AM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. But the rest of the year, they’re welcome on the beach anytime! This 18-acre elevated park is located right next to Valley Street Dog Park, and it offers amazing views of the neighborhood’s historic houses. It’s also a great place to see the sunset.
