Crockett Corner
Crockett Corner is a quiet residential area with lots to offer its furry residents and visitors. If you want to take your dog for a fun on-leash walk, head over to Old Town House Park. This 62-acre park has 3.1 miles of trails that take you past open fields, through shady woodland areas, and along the beautiful Royal River. Bring water and doggy bags, and enjoy trekking through this park. If you want to get a bite to eat after the park, head to Toddy Brook Café. This café is located on a golf course, and they allow dogs at their outdoor tables. To eat, they offer clam burgers, veggie wraps, stir fry, and more.

North Deering
If you’re looking for a furtastic off-leash area for your pup, head to North Deering and check out Quarry Run Dog Park. Located 13 miles from North Yarmouth, this off-leash park includes two separate fenced areas: one for large dogs and one for small dogs. Both areas have lots of space for dogs to run and make new friends, and water and doggy bags are available. If you want to get a sweet treat after the dog park, head over to Beal’s Old-Fashioned Ice Cream. This ice cream shop welcomes dogs at their outdoor tables, and they serve over a hundred flavors of ice cream.

Willard Square
Does your pup love splashing around in the water? If so, they’re sure to enjoy spending time at Willard Beach! This beach is 20 miles from North Yarmouth, and it allows dogs off-leash. In summer, dogs can only go on the beach from 7:00 to 9:00 AM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. But the rest of the year, they’re welcome on the beach anytime! Bring water and doggy bags, and have a furrific time swimming and playing in the sand with your dog! After the beach, treat yourself and your dog to lunch at Scratch Baking Co. Sit at one of their dog-friendly outdoor tables, and enjoy freshly baked bread, pastries, and delicious and healthy sandwiches.

Wolf’s Neck Woods State Park
If you want to take your dog on a picturesque hike, Wolf’s Neck Woods State Park is perfect for you. This park is 16 miles from North Yarmouth, and it allows dogs on-leash. While you’re here, you and your pup can go for treks on the park’s numerous trails. One of the most popular trails it the Casco Bay Trail, which goes along the coast and provides amazing views of Casco Bay. Or, you can go for a hike on the White Pine Trail, which takes you through a beautiful salt marsh. Whichever trail you choose, you’re sure to have fun hiking here!

West End
Portland’s West End neighborhood is home to many historic houses and beautiful historic buildings. For its furry residents and visitors, the neighborhood offers a pawsitively great off-leash area, Valley Street Dog Park. Located 17 miles from North Yarmouth, this dog park features one big fenced-in area where dogs of all sizes can play and make new friends. If your dog gets thirsty, water is available in the park. After the park, put your dog’s leash back on and take them for a stroll on the Western Promenade. This 18-acre elevated park is located right next to Valley Street Dog Park, and it offers amazing views of the neighborhood’s historic houses. It’s also a great place to see the sunset.
