You'll need to get a membership to play at this pawesome park, though.

Sunset Hills
Sunset Hills is just three miles south of Affton. Kitun Dog Park has over an acre of pooch playground for your four-legged friend. Small dogs have their separate space, too. Agility equipment and lots of soft green grass will make your furry friend a happy hound! This park has all the niceties of home -- water, waste baggies, and no leash to slow a dog down. A pup’s person can sit on the shaded bench, and maybe even get a great pic of a satisfied pup at play. Kitun operates sunrise to sunset. It is a membership-only dog park. Registration and fees are paid to Sunset Hills.

Kirkwood City Limits
Kirkwood is six miles southwest of Affton. Treecourt Unleashed Adventure Park is a private club that has eight acres of leash-free paradise! This dog park has a beautiful natural space for dogs to socialize and play with no leash to spoil the day. The small dogs have their own spot, too. Treecourt has some agility equipment for training or exercise. A babbling creek gives pups a place to wet their paws on a hot summer day. The person can sit or take a walk about under a blue sky and shade trees. Dogs must pass the temperament test before being admitted to the pack.

University City is eight miles north of Affton. The University City Off Leash Dog Park makes pups wriggle with delight as they run and play leash-free. This dog park has some grass, trees, and some fun-lovin’ furry pals. A separate fenced enclosure gives the small pups their own place to frolic. There is always a crowd waiting to get into the kiddie pools on that hot July day. The pup’s person can park it on one of the chairs. Forgot a water bottle? No worries! The dog park has you covered. You'll need to bring some waste bags ,though. This dog park is a members-only dog park. Registration and fee must be paid to University City.

Arnold, located eleven miles south of Affton, is one of the few towns in the vicinity which offers free, public dog parks that don't require a membership. The Paw Parks are located in the City Park and the Ferd B. Lang Park. Dogs come from miles around to enjoy these one-acre Paw Parks. They are fully enclosed, and a have safe haven for small dogs, too. These paw parks have pawfect natural terrain, lush carpets of green grass, trees that provide a canopy of shade and crisp leaves in fall. Water is available for both person and pup, and waste baggies are supplied. The Paw Parks are open from dawn to dusk.
