This park is 120 acres, with 23 acres of lake. The area offers plenty of space for hiking, non-motorized boating, swimming, picnics or fishing. After working up an appetite, check out the Black Iron Grill and Rotisserie located in the same neighborhood. The neighborhood of Ismay will bring you deep into the badlands, and offers many o-paw-tunities for getting fresh air and exercise with your doggo. The Strawberry Hill Recreation Area is a great place to do just that. This park expands over a massive 4,258 acres, featuring trails that wind through grass, sage, unique rock formations and ponderosa pine. There is primitive overnight camping available here, but there are no facilities on site. Since there are no dumpsters available, this park has a “pack in, pack out” policy. You’re doggo doesn’t need to miss out on the fun, because leashed dogs are welcome as long as they are on good behavior and are picked up after.
