Miles City Center
In the middle of the City Center neighborhood, you can still enjoy some nature and greenery on your morning walk with Fido. Check out the Wibaux Park for some fresh air and a chance for some pawsitive socialization with the neighborhood pups. This urban park is 7.3 acres, offering plenty of space to sniff and play. Bring along your family and a lunch, because this park also has a playground and picnic area. You can also enjoy the pretty views of a water fountain. If a picnic isn’t really your jam, check out Montana’s Rib and Chop House located in the same neighborhood. They offer premium steaks, fresh seafood, and best of all, eight pet friendly outdoor tables.

Westwood Estates
The Westwood Estates neighborhood is proud home to what may be the most popular park in Miles City, Riverside Park. This 8.4 acre park is friendly to leashed dogs. They also host several community events throughout the year, from car shows, to a bucking horse sale, to fourth of July festivities. On a regular day, you can still enjoy the pretty green space that this park has to offer. Amenities include a variety of athletic fields, picnic shelters, gazebos, a playground and restrooms. If you’d like to stay in this neighborhood for a while, check out the Miles City KOA. This KOA is placed near the juncture of the Yellowstone and Tongue Rivers, and features wifi, a heated pool, and welcomes leashed dogs to stay!

Edgewood St / N Montana Ave
The Edgewood St / N Montana Ave neighborhood is located in the north end of Miles City, and bordered by the Yellowstone River. Residents and dogs of this neighborhood love living in close proximity to Bender Park. This scenic 23 acres of green space welcomes leashed dogs, and is located right in the middle of the neighborhood. The park features softball fields, which you and your pup are free to use when there are no games in play. There are also restrooms and picnic areas for you to enjoy. If you start getting hungry from all the running and playing with your active puppy, no need to fret, because there is also a concession stand in this park!

S Haynes Ave / Tompy St
This neighborhood of Miles City is not short on scenic areas to enjoy with your wild pupper. A furtastic place to explore with your pup is the Spotted Eagle Reserve. This park is 120 acres, with 23 acres of lake. The area offers plenty of space for hiking, non-motorized boating, swimming, picnics or fishing. Try out the Lake Loop trail for some gorgeous views of the Spotted Eagle Lake. Dogs are welcome to enjoy the park with their owners, as long as they are leashed and picked up after. After working up an appetite, check out the Black Iron Grill and Rotisserie located in the same neighborhood. This restaurant’s rustic menu includes Cowboy Nachos, a BBQ brisket sandwich and much more! Most importantly, they have dog friendly outdoor tables.

Ismay
The neighborhood of Ismay will bring you deep into the badlands, and offers many o-paw-tunities for getting fresh air and exercise with your doggo. The Strawberry Hill Recreation Area is a great place to do just that. This park expands over a massive 4,258 acres, featuring trails that wind through grass, sage, unique rock formations and ponderosa pine. There is primitive overnight camping available here, but there are no facilities on site. Since there are no dumpsters available, this park has a “pack in, pack out” policy. You’re doggo doesn’t need to miss out on the fun, because leashed dogs are welcome as long as they are on good behavior and are picked up after.
