Whitney Commons in the City Center of Sheridan is a beautiful park where you and Fido can meet up with friends and their canine companions. The paved walking paths are perfect for a stroll through the gardens on a warm afternoon. Bronze art pieces are situated throughout the park where you and your pup can admire the local talent. Your pooch will have a snifftastic time wandering through the trees and flowers, and the kids will love the playground. Just across the street, you will also enjoy spending time at Kendrick Park. This park is known for its delicious and affordable ice cream where you can treat Fido to a pup cup and a huge ice cream cone for yourself.

Lions Park

Sheridan Dog Park is sure to become Fido’s new favorite destination. The fully fenced area features plenty of space for pups to run around and sniff the grass and plants. There is access to water, doggie waste bags and trash cans. While your pup is running around, you can sit on a bench and chat with friends, but keep an eye on your pup since there are no separate areas for smaller dogs. The dog park is part of Lions Club Park where kids can play at the playground or shoot baskets on the court. There is convenient parking, and the parks are located near America’s Best Value Inn where pups can stay for an additional fee.

East Sheridan

Otts Memorial Park is situated in East Sheridan and offers a great place to walk your pooch. The baseball fields are great for a game of fetch, and there is a small playground for the kids. If you are looking for an adventure, plan a week or a weekend at Peter D’s RV Park. The owners are dog lovers and are friendly and helpful. You can park your RV and sightsee around the area, and take a hike through the Big Horn Mountains with your adventurous pup. While spending time at the RV Park, your pooch will love the huge enclosed dog run. If your pup is well behaved, you are welcome to let him walk around the park with you off-leash.

Sheridan Heights

Located near the Sheridan Fair Grounds, Rotary Park features a stocked fishing pond, covered picnic area, and a large open space to spend time with your pup. You can take your pooch for a stroll around the fairgrounds and let him have a furtastic time rolling in the grass and sniffing the trees. There are several covered picnic areas where you can enjoy lunch with friends and their canine companions. After your meal, stroll through the grounds and admire the historic buildings before heading home. You can also access the Sheridan Pathway System from the park and take a walk up and around Holly Ponds or over to the Sheridan Heights Reservoir.

Marshall Park

Emerson Park is a beautiful area where the Little Goose Creek runs right through the middle. Pups and their parents can spend time walking along the river enjoying the peace and quiet.
