Germanton City Limits
Sadly, Clemmons doesn't have any dog parks, but if you and your pooch want to get in a great game of fetch, this neighborhood is pawfect. It's located about 21 miles from Clemmons, and has a great dog park to visit. Happy Hounds at Horizon Park welcomes dogs that are on leash. The grass is thick and soft for your pup’s paws. The park supplies water for your pooch and waste bags for an easier cleanup. Benches and shade trees provide a great place for owners to rest and relax while their pup plays. Your pooch will love making friends with the other canines at this lovely park!

West Salem
Clemmons is located right outside the muttropolis of Winston-Salem. The Washington Dog Park is located in this neighborhood and is just 15 minutes from Clemmons. This off-leash dog park has plenty of room for your pooch to run around and explore. There are separate areas for different sized dogs, and the whole park is completely fenced in. The park has tables and trees for shade. Drinking water and doggie waste bags are also provided for pet parent convenience. The terrain is grass mixed with dirt. Grab your pup’s favorite toy and visit this park for a pawesome time!

Applegate
This dog-friendly neighborhood is located 20 miles northeast of Clemmons, and has a great dog park for you and your pooch to enjoy together. The Kernersville Dog Park at Fourth of July Park is an off-leash dog park that is totally fenced in. There are two areas for dogs to play in: one for larger dogs, and one for the smaller breeds. Shade trees and benches give pet owners a place to rest while their pup plays. There is a watering station as well as a waste station for convenient clean-up. Your pooch will love walking along the trails with you and exploring all of the new terrain. There are also creeks that run through the park that your pooch can make a splash in! Remember to keep Fido on a leash when exploring outside the dog park.

If you want to enjoy a nice cold one with your pooch by your side, this neighborhood has the pawfect place to do just that! The Old Winston Social Club is dog-friendly. They do not serve food here, but you may bring your own food with you if you choose to do so. They do sell alcoholic beverages along with regular beverages. Your canine pal can come right in with you and enjoy your company while you enjoy a brew. Your pup needs to be on a leash, though. The staff here is very friendly and will surely be delighted to fuss over your furry friend!

Central Pinehurst
If you're looking to enjoy a day of shopping and sampling with your pooch, you're in the right place! The Pinehurst Olive Oil Company welcomes dogs to shop along with you. They sell a large variety of olive oils and balsamic vinegars from all over. The staff is very friendly toward canines, and your visit is sure to make their day! Your pup will need to remain on their leash while you are in the store. You can enjoy trying different flavors with your canine pal right by your side. (Just be careful when letting Fido sample the goods, as some ingredients may upset his stomach.) What a fun experience for you both!
