The dog park is a fully fenced enclosure for off-leash running and socialization. There is a separate fenced enclosure for the small dogs. There are specially designed water fountains offer you and your pup drinking water, so you don’t have to worry about bringing your own. This dog park encloses natural terrain, and there are trees within its confines. A small creek flows through the large dog enclosure. Human companions have picnic tables placed under shade trees from which to watch and supervise their furry friend.

Dogs are welcome on any trail with their person as long as they stay leashed. The State Park also has numerous sites to picnic with a four-legged friend. For the full experience, tents or trailers may camp overnight in the State Park. Dogs are allowed as long as they remain on leash or within the tent or trailer
