Enjoy the lakeshore views of Thagard Lake as you play, swim, picnic, and more! The area is quiet and safe, giving you peace of mind to lounge under the pine trees with your pup. There's two entrances, one with a picnic area, swimming area, boat ramp, boat storage racks, and a kid's playground, while the other location features a quaint swimming area and more boat storage racks. No matter the entry point, you and Fido will be able to find your own shady spot to enjoy a day at Thagard's Lake!

Pineridge

Woofing for another place to enjoy grassy parks, trails, swimming access, and more? Then woof no further than the Spring Valley Lake & Park located in the Pineridge neighborhood. You and Fido will certainly enjoy the Spring Valley Lake, with its restful picnic area, clean swimming area, and convenient boat storage racks, how could you not have a pawtacular day out? The Spring Valley Lake offers plenty of hidden shady spots where you and Fido can enjoy a peaceful afternoon. What's more, the lake stretches 89 acres and gives visitors the chance to explore its more hidden spots by boat! You and Fido will have a furrific time together in the Pineridge neighborhood!

Whispering Pines - South

The Whispering Pines - South neighborhood is another woofastic location to enjoy a day out in Whispering Pines with your pooch. This neighborhood provides visitors and residents the beautiful and clean 48-acre freshwater Pine Lake. In addition to fishing, boating, and swimming, you and Fido are welcome to enjoy a leisurely stroll along Pine Lake's shoreline. As with the other Whispering Pine Lakes & Parks, the Pine Lake enforces the poop and scoop policy, so make sure to pick up after any pooch waste while on your walk with Fido. Pine Lake also features a quaint picnic area, where you and your pup can enjoy a delicious brunch or afternoon snack!

Yadkin Trail

Head south of Whispering Pines to enjoy even more parks and activities in the Yadkin Trail neighborhood located in Southern Pines. Here you and Fido will enjoy the Resevoir Park, which boasts 165 acres of explorable land and 95 acres of pristine lake. There are more than 12 miles of Greenway Trails, plenty of fishing and boating opportunities, and more!
