Wag just a mile eastward of Pinebluff to hike the All American Trail with your pup! The All American Trail is easily accessed, just visit the Ashley Heights neighborhood in Ashley Heights to begin your ascent! This woofderful trail is a great way to get outdoors and enjoy some fresh air with your pup, although pets must be kept on a leash while along the trail. At just over 20 miles in length, the All American Trail is a lightly-trafficked trail stretching from Ashley Heights to Aberdeen and Southern Pines to the north. Most importantly, the trail is open only from February-September and is closed during hunting season. Make sure to keep your pet leashed and have a barking good time!

Set inside a gorgeous Victorian-style home in the heart of the historic district, Pine Gables offers pups and their owners an exquisite and memorable stay. The Aberdeen Center neighborhood in Aberdeen is a vibrant and safe place to visit with Fido! The highlight of the neighborhood is by far the Aberdeen Town Lake & Park. This pawtastic place is just minutes from downtown, but with its beautiful, vast grounds, and 2-mile lakeside trail, it doesn't feel like you're anywhere near a bustling town center. The Aberdeen Town Lake also offers fishing and boating (however, no gas engines) for pooches who love to play with water. Enjoy a bite to eat at the picnic shelters or have friends and family tag along and rent one of the park's charming gazebos! Pack your lunch, a basket, a book, and head out to the Aberdeen Town Lake & Park for a fruitful day!

This woofderful neighborhood features the pawsome Mazatlan Mexican Family Restaurant, where your doggo's water is refilled just as much as yours is! This lovely restaurant happily welcomes its furry customers to join their owners for a meal on the pup-friendly patio. Southern Middle is also a great place to check-in for the evening. Both the 5-bone rated Towneplace Suites and the Hampton Inn Southern Pine/Aberdeen welcome puppy dogs to their establishments for little to no fee per night. Now that's a wooftastic deal!
Northern Aberdeen

Take a small drive north from Pinebluff to visit the woofderful Northern Aberdeen neighborhood. This neighborhood is a safe, remote location to visit with Fido when you wish to get out of the town and visit a pretty park! The Ray Mills Park boasts a peaceful atmosphere. If you enjoy fishing, you and Fido can fish straight off the dam or from the brand new pier. Otherwise, take advantage of the park's other pawtastic amenities, such as: picnicking, trail walking (five laps equal one mile), kayaking/canoeing, reading a book, observing flora and fauna, and more! All who wish to relax with their canines are invited to Ray Mills Park!
