Downtown Troy is a quaint yet vibrant neighborhood not to be missed. In addition to its small-town, historic atmosphere, the Downtown neighborhood offers two shady escapes for pups and their owners. Blair Park is the pawfect location to rest your paws and enjoy the freshness of a shady patch of grass with your pooch. Enjoy a snack and watch the kiddos play on the swings and seesaws. Downtown also hosts the local Capel Park, which is primarily used for its two little league fields. Here you and Fido can enjoy a thrilling game of softball or baseball while you snack on concession food or enjoy a quick picnic.

Central Northeast Troy
In Troy's Central Northeast neighborhood lies the woofderful Lowe Warner Memorial Park. Visit here with Fido for a pleasant day out exploring the town. Enjoy a variety of park features with your pooch. There's baseball/softball, a kid's playground, sand volleyball, a horseshoe pit, disc golf course, and more! Take part in one of the many outdoor sports or enjoy walking or running side-by-side with Fido on the park's fitness trail. Lowe W. This clean and well-maintained greenway connects from East Troy to the Roy J. Maness Nature Preserve, about 6 miles long. The Troy Nature Trail also serves as the trailhead and as the river and boat access to Little River. This wooftacular Nature Preserve can be accessed by car, bike, or on foot via the Troy Nature Trail (which is ruffly 6 miles long). The Preserve features camping, fishing, picnic and shelter areas, plus over 6+ miles of hiking trails. It marks the northernmost point of Troy's greenway, although the town will continue to add on in the years to come. Leash up your pup and enjoy exploring the many trails at the Roy J. Pups who love fishing and swimming will love Badin Lake Campground. Next is the Canebrake Horse Camp which welcomes travelers to enjoy its peaceful grounds and over 40 miles of hiking and horseback riding trails.
