The Duke's Dog Run Off-Leash Area in Medford, New Jersey is 20 miles from Bordentown, and it's part of Freedom Park. Freedom Park is a large city park that has sports fields, a playground, a skate park, and other exciting amenities in addition to the 20-acre off-leash space. This spacious dog park is a dog's dream, but be advised it isn't entirely fenced in, so before you let your dog off-leash, be sure their recall skills are up to snuff! Throughout the dog park, you'll find a variety of trails and creeks to explore. Be sure to bring your own drinking water, as well as a towel to wipe off muddy paws before you head home.

Veterans Memorial Park in central Hamilton, New Jersey is only five miles or a ten-minute drive from Bordentown. This 333-acre park was built in 1977 to honor local veterans, and it includes paved trails, sports fields, a lake, picnic facilities, and its very own off-leash dog park. The Veterans Memorial Dog Park is a well-maintained space that includes big and small dog sections, each with their own double-gated entry systems. Each section also has agility equipment, seating, and waste disposal supplies, and you'll also find a dog water fountain just outside of the entrance to the off-leash space. Your dog can also accompany you throughout other areas of the park as long as they're on a leash.

Only 20 miles southwest of Bordentown, in the southwestern Mount Laurel area known as Ramblewood, you'll find the Laurel Acres Dog Park. This dog park is part of Laurel Acres Park, a community park with sports fields, trails, and a fishing lake in addition to the dog run. The Laurel Acres Dog Run includes big and small dog sections, as well as some seating for human visitors. The park supplies guests with waste disposal items, but be sure to bring your own water when you visit this park. The paved trail throughout the rest of the park is a good place to walk your dog, but they must be on a leash outside of the dog run.

Heavenly Farms Park is a 147.6-acre park in East  Brunswick, New Jersey that's less than 30 miles from Bordentown. Located in the southwestern area of East Brunswick, Heavenly Farms Park has several sports fields, walking paths, playgrounds, and a dog park! The East Brunswick Dog Park at Heavenly Farms Park is a friendly and clean dog park that has sections for big and small dogs. The surface is a combination of gravel and grass, and there are dog water fountains as well as waste disposal stations in the park. Open until 10 PM every day, the East Brunswick Dog Park even has lighting for those who visit at night.

Mercer County Park in West Windsor, New Jersey, is a 2,500-acre park that has facilities and activities your entire family can enjoy, including an off-leash park! The Mercer County Dog Park has a section for dogs under 35 pounds, as well as an area for bigger dogs. There are water stations, benches, and doggie bags available in the park, and if you plan on visiting late in the day, you'll be pleased to know there's lighting in the park, too! Mercer County Park has lots of other areas that are fun to check out with your dog, but they must be on a leash in all other areas.
