Dog Areas in Bensalem

Bensalem Township is one of the oldest communities in the state -- in fact, it's just 10 years younger than the state of Pennsylvania itself. The township is a pawpular tourist destination and offers several historic and cultural attractions, including Parx Casino and Racetrack and Mongkoltepmunee Buddhist Temple. Un-fur-tunately, your pup can't join you in either location, but don't worry -- this historic community is incredibly dog-friendly! You'll also find several veterinary clinics in Bensalem Township to keep your pup happy and healthy.

During your stay in Bensalem Township, you should definitely make time to visit La Cena Pizzeria, where your dog is welcome on the outside patio. Philly It Cheesesteak is a local favorite that welcomes canine customers. Some visitors even say it's home to the best cheesesteak outside of Philly. We'll let you and Fido be the judge of that!

You won't need to travel outside of the township to find dog-friendly lodging, either. Bensalem has a couple of budget- and dog-friendly hotels which welcome canine guests, as well as pet-friendly AirBnB rentals. The only thing this dog-friendly township seems to be missing is its own dog park! Luckily, Bensalem Township is just 18 miles from Philly, which offers paw-lenty of dog-friendly amenities and activities!
