Hainesport is a quiet and peaceful township, with its idyllic location making it popular among those who appreciate the great outdoors. With both neighborhood parks and state parks to explore, as well as three veterinary clinics, your pup's tail will not stop wagging when in Hainesport.
One of the most busy and active green spaces in Hainesport is the Hainesport Recreation Complex, which offers both indoor and outdoor activities. A network of paved walking paths criss-cross their way through the grounds, while the section of dense woodland will no doubt provide plenty of exciting smells for Fido.
If the two of you would prefer a quieter walk, head on over to Chase Park. This small neighborhood park is home to a basketball court, a tennis court and a playground, as well as plenty of shady trees to keep your pooch busy.
There are a couple of other smaller parks in Hainesport that are pawfect for a leisurely stroll. Rancocas Heights Park features a play area and a fitness area, as well as a paved path, while the Maryland Avenue Park is home to a playground and a large grassy lawn.
With so many pawsome walks to be had, Hainesport will definitely keep your pooch entertained.

Creek Woods

The Creek Woods neighborhood is where you will find some of the best dog walks in Hainesport, because this neighborhood provides access to the Rancocas State Park, which sprawls out for 1252 acres, and boasts an abundance of natural beauty. The best way to thoroughly explore the park is by following some of its hiking trails, of which you have plenty to choose from. The Rancocas State Park Sandy Trail stretches out for 3.3 miles, and will take you past a river and a historic house, while the Rancocas State Park Loop is a four mile trail that will take you into some of the park's various ecosystems.

While Franklin Estates is quite a residential neighborhood, it does also encompass one of the finest parks in Hainesport. Extending out for 115 acres, Long Bridge Park is extremely popular due to all of the facilities it contains, from playgrounds and fishing spots to picnic areas and wildlife observation decks, the latter of which will definitely keep Fido entertained. There are a few trails within the park that will take you and your pooch through everything from tidal marshlands to upland forests, while also showcasing the park's two acre wildflower meadow. Dogs are welcome to use this park, but do need to be kept on a lead.

Less than a mile from Hainesport is the Garden St – Buttonworth St neighborhood in Mount Holly, which offers up some pawsome dog walks. Begin at the Woolman Lake Park, which features a large lake that has recently been restored. There are a few unmarked trails winding their way through the park, just be sure to bring a lead, doggie bags and drinking water with you. This neighborhood also provides access to the Creek Island Park, with its large playground and secluded picnic areas. From here, you can access the Mount Holly Rail Trail, which is a 1.5 mile round trip trail that will take you past creeks and wetlands.

Less than two miles from Hainesport is the Iron Works Park neighborhood in Mount Holly, which is home to a few different parks. Mill Dam Park is a large passive park, with a playground, a few walking trails, and picturesque waterfront views. Monroe Park is more active, with a few different sports facilities, a playground, picnic benches and a paved path. This neighborhood is also home to the spacious Iron Works Park, where you will find several large open green spaces for you and Fido to frolic about in. While dogs are welcome in all of these parks, they do need to be kept on a lead at all times.
Beverly Rancocas

It takes about ten minutes to drive from Hainesport to the Beverly Rancocas neighborhood in Willingboro, and the journey is worth it thanks to the incredibly picturesque Millcreek Park. This large park stretches out for over 180 acres, and, back in the 70's, used to be the largest municipal park in all of New Jersey. Home to two playgrounds, several sports facilities, a sled hill and a fishing pond, there is so much to see and do here. What Fido will love the most are the two walking trails within the park. The first is a paved path that extends out for two miles, while the second is a two and a half mile wood chip nature trail.
