Bon Air is a northeastern neighborhood in Pennsauken Township, about 10 minutes south of Riverton via Burlington Pike. This is a quiet residential area with a sports complex and a creek. The southern part of the area offers some shopping, and the western part is where you'll find some off-leash fun! Bow Wow Dog Park at Cooper Avenue is a small, yet comfortable dog park with a fence. There aren't usually many daily visitors here, but that can be an advantage if you want to exercise or play with the pup alone. Make sure to bring some drinking water with you.

Golden Triangle

Golden Triangle

Part of Cherry Hill and Cherry Hill Township in New Jersey, Golden Triangle is an expansive neighborhood located on the northern bank of Cooper River. This residential area has plenty of amenities for the locals, with shopping venues, eateries, and a golf club. If you want to have a blast with your pup, head to the riverfront area near Park Boulevard and find some off-leash fun in Cooper River Dog Park. It may be not the best place to socialize or make new friends, but it's perfect for playing catch and burning some energy! Waste bags are provided, but drinking water is on you.

Historic Smithville Park

West Railroad Avenue runs throughout the scenic western portion of Mt. Holly, NJ, about 20 miles east of Riverton via Creek Road. This area features a wonderful lakeside park with creeks, walking trails, and even a butterfly garden! Historic Smithville is a public park, and pooches are welcome to sniff around as long as they are leashed. If your pooch is more in the mood for some off-leash playtime, Country Haven Kennels & Dog Park is a nice boarding facility with a dog park that's open to the public! The single fenced area features lots of grass and an obstacle course, as well as drinking water and waste bags.

Stanwick Glen is a large northern neighborhood in Moorestown. The area includes residential quarters neatly organized near recreational areas, local businesses, cafes, and shopping venues. Your pup will fall in love with Boundary Creek Natural Resource Area, a charming public park and nature preserve on Boundary Creek. The place is perfect for mindful walks and bird-watching. Keep in mind that pooches should stay on their leash at all times. To enjoy views of Rancocas Creek, pay a visit to Carlucci’s Waterfront. This Italian café has riverside open-air tables and a finger-licking good choice of pasta and pizza. Bone Appetit!

Bridgeboro is a small rural community in Delran Township situated on Rancocas Creek in Burlington County, New Jersey. Just 15 minutes southwest of Riverton, the community features several recreational areas, as well as Plan Incent Anderson Farm and Laurel Run Park. The neighborhood is also a great place to stop by for a snack! Saladworks offers a create-your-own-salad option and plenty of snacks to grab on the go. But if you're not in a hurry, you can chow down with your buddy at the outdoor tables. Pizza Amore is another dog-friendly restaurant in the area, offering old-school charm and pizza pies for everyone.
