Chester has many outdoor activities that will make your hound a happy one! Visitors and residents with pups will appreciate a small town that offers big opportunities for them. Chester has two veterinary clinics that operate within the city boundaries and can provide most routine and emergency care. You'll also find ruffly a dozen parks here where you and your pup can go on an adventure. These green spaces range from tiny corners of grass to large preserves of several thousand acres.

Grove Stree Park is a small green space. This park has an easy walking trail and is a popular place for dog walkers. Chubb Park is another town park and is the community's gathering spot for summer concerts and holiday events. Chubb has a relaxing environment with large mature trees and a pond.

Looking for something a little bigger? Black River Park has 560 acres of land set aside for recreation and conservation. Several hiking trails of varying lengths can be enjoyed by a hiker and a leashed pup. The Black River sparkles with a current that dashes over rocks and finds its way over beautiful cascades. A historic mill, Coopers Mill, gives the park a charming quality with a stone building that houses its old grist and mill.

Hungry after all that exploring? Spice it up at Thai Kitchen! Six outdoor tables welcome a person with a furry dining companion. People with four-legged pals can't go wrong in Chester Township!
