Bernardsville
Bernardsville has a touch of class waiting for you and your preppy pup. The Bernards Inn on Mine Brook Road serves gourmet American cuisine. This upscale restaurant is known for its extensive wine list. On Mondays, people dining with their pup are welcome at eight dog-friendly tables just for them. If it isn't Monday, you and your four-legged companion can try out The Station, which offers tantalizing appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, and more. Monterey Gourmet on Morristown Road also has six tables on its patio waiting for you and your dog. This restaurant serves salads and wraps as well as take-out gourmet dinners. Bone Appetit!36

Ledgewood
The Ledgewood neighborhood in Roxbury Township is a short five miles north of Bernardsville. A stop at Emmans Park will put a spark back in Sparky! Roxbury Dog Park is one of the sweet amenities of Emmans. This dog park has an eighth of an acre fully fenced for some off-leash socializing with some new four-pawed pals. A separately fenced spot for small dogs lets them play with friends their own size. Agility equipment can be found in the large dog enclosure, including a bridge and a tube-tunnel. The surface is pea gravel that stays usable even after a hard rain. Visitors need to pay a small fee to the city to use the dog park.24

Morristown
Morristown is located seven miles north of Bernardsville. Lewis Morris Park offers a person and pup 2,000 acres of recreational land to explore, and is the pawfect place to go hiking! Twelve miles of trails of varying lengths and difficulties await you and your pooch. If Fido would rather ditch the leash and run free, paw on over to Lewis Morris Dog Park! Human companions have many shaded benches from which to sit and supervise their dogs having fun in one of two separate, fenced sections for large and small breeds. The surface is mostly paved with a few patches of grass. Waste stations provide waste bags. The dog park is open from 9 a.m until sunset.12

Beverwyck
Parsippany is located eighteen miles north of Bernardsville. Cameron Dog Park is operated by the city of Parsippany, and visitors must be registered before using the dog park. This dog park gives dogs some outdoor space to exercise without being confined to a leash. Two spacious, grassy enclosures give dogs a pawesome time playing with some furry friends their own size. Locals note the natural terrain is uneven and can be problematic for human companions with limitations. Dogs don't seem to mind it, though! A plastic tunnel adds to the fun of the place. Water is available on-site, and doggie waste bags are in good supply.
